| Abstract: | The primary objective of this course is to provide students with psychological research experience through project-based learning. Students will be introduced to a body of psychological research related to effective methods of tutoring, teaching and learning. Students will learn about effective tutoring strategies, tutorial dialogue, motivational techniques, and conversational discourse and will leave the course with knowledge of the psychological research methodologies that are used to evaluate effective tutoring practices and/or conversational discourse. |
