General chemistry I (Chem 111) is the first semester of a two semester sequence primarily geared for students majoring in the sciences. These courses are required for all students majoring in Biology and Chemistry. Historically, the majority of students in the class are interested in pursuing medical school or health science professions, but we have an increasing number of students now majoring in Chemistry. Chem 111 also serves those needing foundation science credits (F7).en_US
