| Abstract: | Chinese 101 is designed to introduce you to the Chinese language and culture. Since Chinese characters are very different from any western languages’ writing forms, we will learn how to effectively read and remember them from the beginning. By the end of this course, students should be able to recognize every Chinese character we learn and communicate rudimentary information in Chinese. |
