| Abstract: | This is an image of the dignataries sitting on the stage at the welcoming ceremony for Giant Pandas arrival in Memphis. The pandas were flown in a specially equipped FedEx airplane and greeted by Chinese and Memphis dignataries and guests. The arrival of the pandas offered both an introduction to Chinese culture and the opportunity for research by Rhodes students with biology professor, Dr. Alan Jaslow. |
