Abstract: | Photography I is an intensive introduction to basic Black & White photography. It involves discussions about camera types, light metering, exposure determination, photo-sensitive materials, film/print development, darkroom practice and final presentation. There is a strong emphasis on shooting photographs, darkroom procedures, slide lectures on photographers, and critiques of student work. Therefore, ATTENDANCE IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT especially in the beginning of the semester. |
