This syllabus was submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs by the course instructor.en_US
This section of the course will focus on Twentieth-Century British and Irish fiction, in particular the novel. Roughly equal attention will be given to earlier modernist novels and to more contemporary fiction from the period. The course will explore the ways in which the novels engage in a dialogue with each other and with relevant sociopolitical, historical, and artistic developments of the time.en_US
