dc.description.abstract | Rhodes Athletic 1999 Hall of Fame inductee Thayer “Toto” Houts ‘37. Houts was captain of the 1936 football team and a member of the Lynx team that defeated Vanderbilt with just twelve players. Houts was one of the top linemen in the South and earned All-America honors. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his service in World War II. | en_US |
