Abstract: The course is designed as an introduction to the major theories and topics in international relations. The intent is to gather skills necessary to think critically about international affairs. The first part of the course provides students with the analytical foundations for understanding world politics. The second part of the course covers the major components of contemporary international relations: international security, international political economy, and international organizations.
