Abstract: This tutorial will be the context of your honors research on sectors of singular spaces. You will continue your research on computing free and free abelian Euler-Satake characteristics for non-orientable 3-dimensional orbifolds. In addition, you will continue to study the texts An Introduction to Manifolds by L. W. Tu, Matrix Groups for Undergraduates by K. Tapp, as well as other assigned readings to fill in your background on manifolds, orbifolds, and Lie groups. Based on your progress and decisions we will make together regarding the course of your work on 3-orbifolds, you may also investigate linear torus actions.
