Abstract: This course is the introductory semester that teaches the fundamentals of the Ancient Greek language, specifically the Attic dialect. Although the primary goal of the elementary sequence of courses (Greek 101-102) is to prepare students to use Greek documents in a wide variety of academic contexts, students in this course will develop all four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
