Abstract: This course will present the art and architecture of Greece, Asia Minor, and southern Italy (Magna Graecia) from the Bronze Age through the Hellenistic period.(ca. 1500-30 B.C.E.). It will consider the development of the classical orders and design in architecture, innovations in painting and sculpture, and the cultural and political significance of art in ancient Greek society
