dc.description.abstractThis is a portrait of Winton "Red" Blount from Montgomery, Alabama who was appointed to the Board of Trustees in 1977. He served as U. S. Postmaster General from 1960 to 1970 and in 1968 he was the president of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States. Blount Auditorium in Buckman Hall on the Rhodes College Campus is named in his honor.en_US
