dc.description.abstractCharlaine Harris, the New York Times bestselling author of The Sookie Stackhouse series (the basis for the HBO series True Blood), was a student at Rhodes College, Class of 1973. Harris returned to Rhodes on November 9, 2009, where she spoke to some of the creative writing classes on campus and signed copies of her books in the Middle Ground.-
