| Abstract: | Religious Studies 101 is an introduction to the “Life” sequence of courses through the academic
study of the Bible and the traditions of its interpretation. The course also introduces students to
the major approaches to the study of religion (biblical studies, theology, and history of religions).
Our section of this course will focus on issues raised by Genesis 1-11 in its original context and
in the history of Jewish and Christian interpretation. |
