| Abstract: | I had known John in high school at Battle Ground Academy, but when his roomate dropped out of school, I jumped at the chance to move into the highly desirable Rob Hall on the Southwestern campus.
John, a fellow sci fi aficionado, was my archetype of the cool geek, long before that character was to enter the public cognizance by way of the Internet over 30 years later. |
