Abstract: This image shows a detail of a carved stone relief of a man driving a chariot pulled by a pair of horses. This relief dates from the late 6th century BCE and it was discovered in the ancient town of Cyzicus which is in present day Balikesir Province of Turkey. This object is located at the Istanbul Archaeological Museums in Istanbul, Turkey.
