Abstract: This image shows a carved marble relief depicting Nike, the Greek goddess of victory. This Byzantine carving dates from the 6th century CE. It was photographed at the Istanbul Archaeological Museums in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2011.
Description: Photograph by Dr. Francesca Tronchin, June, 2011. This image was migrated out of MDID and into DLynx during the summer of 2014.
