Abstract: This image shows the Sanctuary of Athena in the Upper Acropolis of Pergamon (also spelled Pergamum). The sanctuary is viewed toward the library in this image. It was photographed near the modern city of Bergama, Turkey, in 2011.
Description: Photograph by Dr. Francesca Tronchin, June, 2011. This image was migrated out of MDID and into DLynx during the summer of 2014.
