dc.description.abstractThis is a baseball player in the outfield. The college campus is visable behind the player. This is on the top left of page 25.Baseball is one of the earliest sports to be organized at the College. The 1899 annual has a photograph of the 1898 varsity team. In 1906 the Board approved $500 for improvements to the baseball field so that intercollegiate games could be played.en_US
