Abstract: | “A sphere made up of 3 ft. steel rods, arranged so that six rods are connected at each joint. The overall surface pattern is of equilateral triangles” (Save Outdoor Sculpture, Tennessee Survey, 1992). The plaque reads, “Geodesic Dome / A four frequency triacon development of the icosahedron / Designed and built by term I 1974, freshman colloquium 167.” |
