Title: The Propylaea, by Mneicles view from the east 437-432 BC Acropolis Athens

Abstract: Matted watercolor on paper shows an ancient Greek structure at the Acropolis in Athens. The building has white columns and remnants of a pediment. The mat has red marks and losses all over, and the bottom right corner is bent. The back of the drawing is marked in blue pen "The Propylaea, by Mneicles (view from the east / 437-432 BC Acropolis Athens."
