Abstract: | This is a painting of there figures through loose, gray brush strokes. The figures are looking toward the center with one slightly looking away. The background is white. There are a few marks on the canvas. It is surrounded by a gray wooden frame and no glass. There is a rip to the upper left of the canvas. Beside the piece is a sticker reading “And He Said unto them, How is it that Ye Sought Me? Wist Ye Not that I Must be about my Father's Business? Luke 2:49 Presented to Rhodes College by the artist Leo Marchutz. August, 1969" |
