Abstract: | This is a painting of a man sitting on the ground in fron t of a field and bare trees with a blue sky. There is a sign to the left of the man that reads “WHERE WILL / YOU SPENT / ETERNITY? / REPENT”. There is an artist’s singer in the bottom left of the piece reading “Carroll Cloar”. The piece is framed with matting and a dark brown wooden frame. There is a plaque at the bottom center of the frame reading “AUTUMN MEDITATION / BY / CARROLL CLOAR ’34 / GIFT OF THE CLASS OF 1934 / 1959”. |
