Abstract: | This digital image shows an Avenue of Animals which is the main entrance way into the Memphis Zoo. It was a part of the $1.2 million addition in 1990. The rows of concrete sculptures were dubbed "Avenue of Animals" and patterned after the avenue of Sphinxes in Egypt to mimic the new Egyptian façade. |
