Abstract: Obverse features a laureate draped cuirassed bust, right with text along the rim saying 'IMP LICIN GALLIENVS'. The reverse has text along the rim stating 'COL AVG, TRO' with a horse grazing below. The actual coin is severely worn with little detail preserved on the reverse and all but part of the bust remains on the obverse. This coin dates from 253 to 268 CE.
Description: This coin was acquired by the College on March 23, 2015 as part of a donation by Auben Gray Burkhart, a longtime friend of the College. The coin was digitized and added to DLynx by the Visual Resources Center during summer 2016.
