Abstract: "Memphis Legends"features cultural icons of Memphis like Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Florence McIntyre. It is located at the trolley shuttle stop on Madison Avenue in front of The Trolley Stop Market. Artist Jeanne Seagle did the fabrication of the ceramic tile mosaics with help from Lea Holland who did the columns and Cindy Metcalfe and Helene Baba who created the floor panels. The artwork was commissioned by Memphis Area Transit Authority, through UrbanArt Commission.
Description: This digital image was taken by Amy Schulz, class of 2019, a Memphis Center Fellow in the Arts. This image was edited and uploaded to DLynx during spring 2017 in the Visual Resources Center.
