| Abstract: | Finally, this course hopes to teach you to regard writing as a tool for critical thinking. Getting your ideas down on paper encourages you to identify and examine them. We will always work from the assumption that clear thinking will reveal itself in clear writing. If you can’t write about a topic clearly, your thinking about it may be more muddled than your realize. On the other hand, you may also learn in this class that thinking through a topic by writing about it can actually lead to ideas you didn’t even know you had. |
