Description: | This is an interview with Arthur Crowns. Crowns was a professor of Sociology with emphasis on law enforcement education at Memphis State University and worked to set up programs with Memphis Policement Department. A veteran of World War II, Crowns obtained JD degree in 1950 at the University of Wisconsin. He also earned advanced degree in law enforcement education at Florida State and came to Memphis State in 1967 to head law enforcement degree program in the sociology department. |
