dc.description.abstract | This is a painting by Tom Donahue of Everett Lynes Amis for whom the Reference Room in Burrow Library was named in 1988. Mr. Amis is seated, his hands are resting in his lap and he is holding a pen in his right hand. He is wearing a camel colored jacket, vest and blue bow tie. The E. L. Amis Family contributed to the Burrow's renovation. Everett Amis is the father of Robert W. Amis, Class of 1948. | en_US |
