| Abstract: | and their environment. Several competing models of ecological anthropology will be analyzed including materialist, symbolic, and systems approaches. The classroom approach will be that of a seminar in which we will all analyze and critique the various models and theoretical orientations put up for discussion. Participatory learning is assumed for a seminar of this type - it is not a spectator sport (this will become obvious by the middle of October!). |
