| Abstract: | This course will explore the complex and varied systems of interaction between people and their environment. Several competing models of ecological anthropology will be analyzed including materialist, symbolic, and systems approaches. The classroom approach will be that of a seminar in which we will all analyze and critique the various models and theoretical orientations put up for discussion. |
