dc.description.abstractThis is an etching of of women and men. In the piece, there is one man to the right that appears deceased, another figure above holding a sword, and two women to the left, one who appears weaping. The etching is matted in white and there is a dark wooden frame and glass. On the back on the upper left-hand corner there is a information card with the title, medium, and who it was acquired from. In the center of the back there is another information sticker that reads from left to right "FERDINAND ROTEN GALLIERS BALTIMORE, MD. KOLLWITX, Kaethe / (German 1867-1945) "SYMBOLIC PLATE" / $29.00 ORIGIONAL ETCHING RESTRIKE KL. #48 / 34-135." There are a few tears in the back of the frame's paper covering.en_US
