| Abstract: | Plaque inscription: John Arch Rollow 1902 - 1969. These oaks planted as seedlings by John Arch Rollow abide as a living tribute to the man who gave physical shape to the vision of Southwestern, an alumnus of the class of 1928, college engineer from his graduation until his retirement in 1968, John Rollow shared with his dearest friend, Charles E. Diehl, a total commitment to the ideals of "Genuineness and Excellence." The memorial resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees on March 19, 1969, states, "They gave their all to each other and Southwestern." 1976. |
