Abstract: Plaque inscription: "Bellingrath Hall, dedicated October 18, 1963. To the glory of God and in grateful recognition of a generous friend and benefactor, Walter Duncan Bellingrath (1869 - 1955), distinguished citizen of Mobile, Alabama, courageous leader in business and industry, unselfish exemplar of the Christian virtues, architect, with his wife, Bessie Morse Bellingrath, of Bellingrath Gardens, "The Charm Spot of the Deep South", and creator of the Bellingrath - Morse Foundation."
