Abstract: Plaque inscription: "The Hardie Auditorium, establisted by his family as a memorial to one who loved his Lord and who bore an honord name, William Tipton Hardie (1840 - 1926). Senior ruling elder in the First Presbyterian Church, New Orleans, Louisiana, member of Bord of Directors of Southwestern, 1902 - 1926. dignified in manner, exemplary in conduct, generous in spirit, he was a man of faith and fortitude, and his life was a benediction."
