| Abstract: | French 101 is intended to develop students' abilities in reading, writing, speaking and understanding French. This course is designed to introduce the student to the fundamentals of French grammar and to give experience in handling those fundamentals in written and spoken form. It is a basic course for students beginning the study of French. Students with two or more years of high school French cannot receive Rhodes College credit for French 101. Such students should enroll in French 102 or begin a new language at the 101 level. |
