Abstract: Plaque inscription:"The Moore Infirmary dedicated to the glory of hod and to the care of the physical health of the students of Southwestern at Memphis. Made possible by the generous bequest of Moore Moore, M.D. (1877 - 1957) in memory of his devoted wife Ethel Sivley Moore (1882 - 1952). Dr. and Mrs. Moore, longtime active members of Second Presbyterian Church, Memphis. Were foremost among those who had a great vision for christian higher education and labored unselfishly to establish the college in Memphis. Dr. Moore was a member of the board of directors of Southwestern from 1924 to 1957. Serving continously as its secretary for thirty-two years. He also contributed his services as college physician from 1925 to 1946, and continued as medical consultant until 1951. "And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all." - St. Mark 10:44. 2 June 1962."
