Abstract: | This image accompanied the article in Rhodes: the Magazine of Rhodes College, Fall 2005. The ceiling shows the Lynx constellation which is in the northern hemisphere. It was introduced in the 17th century by Johannes Hevelius. Its name originates from the fact that someone would need the eyes of a lynx to see it. |
