Abstract

"The Humanity in Our Culture" lecture was hosted by multiple academic offices: Modern Languages and Literatures, Greek and Roman Studies, Search, History, Religious Studies, International Studies, Film Studies, English, Philosophy, Gender and Sexualty Studies, Political Science, African American Studies, Political Economy and the Spencer L. Wilson Chair in the Humanities. The lecture was given in Blount Auditorium, Rhodes College, by Russell Berman (President Modern Language Association(2010-2011)) & Walter A. Haas (Professor in the Humanities of Stanford University) in the Communities in Conversation lecture series.
