Abstract: This image shows a portrait of a Julio-Claudian emperor carved in white marble. The portrait shows the emperor's head, neck, shoulders, and chest. It is from Pergamon, an ancient Greek city in Aeolis. This object was photographed at the Istanbul Archaeological Museums in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2011.
Description: Photograph by Dr. Francesca Tronchin, June, 2011. This image was migrated out of MDID and into DLynx during the summer of 2014.
