dc.description.abstractThis is a poster for the 2010 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, which took place January 17-19 and included four events: an open mic night entitled "Black in History...The Movement of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.", a birthday party and educational workshop, a day of service, and an opportunity to hear thoughts on Dr. King's legacy, entitled "Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: An Evening of Reflection." These events were free and open to the public, and students from Snowden, Promise Academy, Springdale Elementary, and Cypress participated.en_US
