| dc.description.abstract | This is a digital copy of the exhibition brochure for Taking Aim: Selections from the Elliot L. Perry Collection. It was featured in the Rhodes College Clough-Hanson Gallery September 7 - October 11, 2007. The brochure contains several color images of artwork included in the exhibition, and an essay titled "Taking Stock of Young Artists who are Taking Aim: Elliot Perry's Expanding Collection of Contemporary Art" written by Dr. Isolde Brielmaier. The exhibition includes artwork by Wangechi Mutu, Radcliff Bailey, Glenn Ligon, Renee Cox, Xaviera Simmons, Kara Walker, Kehinde Wiley, Leslie Hewitt, Wardell Milan, Demetrius Oliver, Hank Willis Thomas, Robert Pruitt, Jeff Sonhouse, Mickalene Thomas, Chakaia Booker, Kerry James Marshall, and Michael Ray Charles. | en_US |
