Abstract: | Plaque inscription: Presented to Mr. and Mrs. Walter D. Bellingrath whose vision, skill and energy created Bellingrath Gardens. Here is a beautiful setting are cultivated azaleas, camellias, roses, mountain laurel, and other priceless examples of horticultural perfection. Erected in grateful appreciation by their fellow citizens in recognition of their faithful services and untiring effort for the up-building of the city of Mobile, and this "charm spot of the deep South." |
