Abstract: This is a portrait of Noreen Cathey Mallory standing in a black dress with a white shall. She is looking away from the viewer. The portrait is framed with a decorative gold frame and no glass. There is a plaque at the bottom center of the frame that reads “NOREEN CATHEY MALLORY / 1901-1977 / IN WHOSE NAME / NOREEN CATHEY MALLORY THEATRICAL FUND / WAS ESTABLISHED BY HER FAMILY”. There is an artist’s signature in gray at the bottom left corner of the portrait with “33” below. There is paint missing on the left side of her shaw.
