Abstract: History 250 is an experimental course designed to introduce you to the problems and possibilities of oral history. Primary emphasis will be placed on conducting interviews with graduates of Rhodes College; you will also be expected to use the archives of the College, located in Burrow Library. Our class will work as a research team--collecting evidence, sharing information, writing short papers on particular aspects of Rhodes’ history, and in the end pooling our resources in order to develop a comprehensive view of learning and life at Rhodes between 1925 and 1975.
