Description: Marco Baker was born in 1980. Marco Baker was raised by his grandmother and his mom and this has greatly impacted his life. His grandmother and mother taught him many life skills such as hunting, planting, and various other things that would help him later in life.He grew up in Klondike,Memphis before moving to the heights. While growing up in the heights he went to Treadwell High School. During his time there he encountered and experienced many different cultures. Going to Treadwell allowed him to grow up with all different types of people, to learn other's culturesand languages. Today Marco Baker ministers in the heights; he works with churches and organizations to make activities for the neighborhood so that there can have unity in the community. "Everything was different in the Heights, there wasn't a fight every day." -Marco Baker
