dc.descriptionThis is an interview with William B. Ingram who was former mayor of Memphis (1964-68) during last term of City Commission, succeeded by Mayor Henry Loeb and new City Council form of government on January 1, 1968. As a fighter pilot during the second World War, Ingram was shot down over Belgium and was prisoner in Germany for 13 months. He attended Southwestern-at-Memphis and Southern Law University and also was appointed judge of City Court in 1957.-
