Description: Interview with Dr. Peyton Rhodes, President Emeritus of Southwestern at Memphis. Rhodes tells his story of moving to and settling in Memphis as well as Southwestern�s start in Memphis. He explains the development of Southwestern's campus and gives a brief history of the buildings and the people involved. Rhodes discusses the school's integration and the racial layout of the student body and faculty. This interview was conducted in 1979.
