Description: | Interview with Thomas Turley, a long-time resident of the VECA neighborhood. Turley mentions the many developments in the neighborhood and the how Southwestern has sped that whole process up. He also talks about the development of the Sears building in the Crosstown area. Turley talks about public policy, the good it's done for the neighborhood, and the drawbacks it has on Innercity neighborhoods. This interview was conducted in 1979. |
