Description: Interview with Judge Harry Wellford, longtime resident of the Vollintine Evergreen neighborhood. Wellford talks about the area and prominent families in it before major land development. He mentions the development of Southwestern in the community, the architecture and the changes it brought. Wellford also discusses the race relations and stabilization of the community. This interview was conducted in 1979.
